MATERIALS
Yarn: Tosh DK, a 4-ply superwash, 100% merino hand dyed yarn by madelinetosh. Estimated requirement 4 (4, 5, 5, 5)(5, 6, 6, 7) skeins for the hooded version and approximately 3 (3, 4, 4, 4)(4, 5, 5, 6) skeins for the hoodless version @ 225 yards per skein. The model is knitted with the color-way “Moorland”. Notions: Stitch markers, tapestry needle.
NEEDLES
US Size 6 (4.0 mm) 60 inch (150 cm) or longer circular needle
Cable needle
GAUGE
20 stitches and 28 rows to 4 inches (10 cm) in stockinette stitch on US 6 (4.0 mm) needles.
DIFFICULTY
Intermediate to Advanced: short rows, cable stitches, Judy's Magic Cast On, Magic Loop Method. Directions for all stitches are well-defined in the Abbreviations and Definitions section of the pattern.
